Do you want to make a presentation, poster or infographic?

AI is most useful here as a design assistant: layout ideas, images, headings and visual structure. You should still understand and verify the content of the schoolwork yourself.

Quick choice:
  • Canva: for presentations, posters, timelines and infographics.
  • Adobe Express for Education: a K-12 option through an educational environment.
  • AutoDraw: simple visual creation without a general chatbot.

Canva — fast visual organisation

Canva is useful when you already have the content and want to turn it into a presentation, poster or infographic. Canva’s AI products are generally for users aged 13+ unless they are used through Canva Education under educational supervision.

Adobe Express for Education — a school-focused option

Adobe Express for Education is a free creative application for K-12 students and supports presentations, posters, animations and webpages. The education version includes school-oriented safety and generative-AI guardrails.

Access

Children under 13 use it through a school or educational deployment. A personal Adobe ID has a minimum age of 13.

AutoDraw — when a simple tool is enough

Not every creative task needs generative AI. AutoDraw helps turn a rough sketch into a cleaner icon and can be useful for posters, idea maps and small projects.

A better workflow

Write the three to five points you want to communicate first. Then use the design tool for layout and visual presentation. That keeps the work yours.
